Delivery Partners and Regional Centres
We have worked with a range of partners in the research, development and delivery of our accreditation and training programmes. Our delivery partners are working with us to establish a national network of regional centres.
We have involved a wide range of education organisations and specialists including:
- teaching school alliances
- multi-academy trusts
- independent education service providers
- local education authorities
- school and college leaders
- education advisers.
We are presently establishing regional centres based in:
- the South of England
- Greater Manchester
- the North East.
A key advantage for the delivery partners was that they were able to influence the accreditation process and the development programmes, so that they are compatible with their own requirements. Key leaders in each organisation were assessed and trained as part of the trial programme.
We have involved key school representative organisations as development partners, because we wish this to be a strategy which comes from the centre of education, rather than a top down model. In our experience most top down models change with a change of government and are neither developmental nor responsive to the needs of schools. The advantages for the development partners are that they will be invited to speak at our Annual Conference and at development programmes associated with the accreditation.
Our partners are:
- Confederation of School Trusts
- Association of School and College Leaders
- National Association of Head Teachers
- National Governors' Association.
