The Associate level accreditation is for colleagues who have at least 3 years of practice in providing advice and guidance to senior leaders, governors and directors in their role, for example as:

  • an internal or external adviser working in school improvement and governance issues 
  • an LLE, NLE and/or NLG
  • an Executive Headteacher or similar role working across multiple schools
  • a Headteacher or Principal with proven experience of taking a school to good or outstanding

This experience should be related to school / Multi Academy Trust improvement and governance (not subject or phase specific teaching and learning issues).

Once you are registered you will have access to the application form. By completing and submitting your application, you are agreeing to an initial payment of £200 to include full feedback on your application, including a commentary on your own self-evaluation.  Should your application be successful, the cost of completing the full accreditation process will be a further £1200 payable in advance.

Applicants for Senior Associate accreditation must first complete the Associate level accreditation.
